Our short breaks are designed to help you grow into an independent adult whilst spending your time in the great outdoors

We believe in learning by doing, not by staying indoors. That’s why we go out into the Peak District for a weekend full of exciting activities.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are the breaks?

Short breaks run from Friday afternoon (4:30pm) until Sunday afternoon (around 4:30pm).

Do I have to get myself to the venue?

No. Just arrive at one of our centres by 4:30 on Friday afternoon and we will provide the transport to and from the outdoor centre that we're using that weekend.

Do I have to attend the Day Service to come on a Short Break?

No! You don't have to be a current Adventurer to access our short breaks. You'll just need to get in touch with us via shortbreak@theadventureservice.com and express your interest. 

Can I pay for Short Breaks privately?

Yes. Please get in touch with us via shortbreak@theadventureservice.com to organise.
