Life Changed

Becoming Independent Adults
Our short breaks are all about building independence through real adventure in the outdoors.
We don’t believe in sitting inside all weekend — we head out into the Peak District, where the learning happens by doing.
A typical Saturday might mean exploring underground caves, climbing natural rock faces, or taking to the water in a kayak. It’s active, hands-on, and genuinely useful.
Each weekend gives Adventurers the chance to try something new, grow in confidence, and pick up skills that go well beyond the activity itself — things like teamwork, resilience, and getting stuck in.
Add to that a good group of people, time around the campfire or in the common room, and a proper sense of achievement by Sunday — and you’ve got a weekend that really makes a difference.

Our 3 Homes From Home
Where We'll Be Resting Our Heads
Each one offers something slightly different, but they all share the same goal — to give Adventurers a safe, comfortable place to stay while they take on the outdoors.
Set in some of the most beautiful parts of the Peak District, these centres are the base for everything we do over the weekend — whether that’s heading out for a paddle, tackling a hill walk, or winding down with a Saturday night disco.
We’ve chosen each venue because it supports what we’re all about: building confidence, encouraging independence, and helping Adventurers achieve their potential through adventure.
If you’re coming along on one of our 2026 short breaks, here’s what you can expect from where you’ll be staying.
